With a product feed you can quickly and easily sell your store products automatically on other platforms outside your spreadshop. In order for your products to show up as free listings in Google search results or for you to be able to run Google Ads, you need to set your default shipping method in the Google Merchant Center. In this article we will show you how to do that.
Set up stand shipping - this is how it works
If you haven't already, first set up your product feed for Google Merchant Center. Find out how that works here. To set up your shipping method, you must first set up a shipping service:
- In your Merchant Center account, click the tool icon, select the "Shipping and Returns" option and open the "Shipping Services" tab.
- Click on the plus sign and add the information as you already know it from your store. The information about our delivery times and the shipping costs depending on the value of goods can be found here.
- Tip: Add more shipping countries with the same currency to reach even more buyers. Done
After saving, your default shipping method for the Google Product Feed is enabled and you don't need to do anything else. You can find more information about Google's shipping settings here.
