To showcase your products on Google, you need to connect your Spreadshop with the Google Merchant Center. Once you've registered, you’ll be guided through an onboarding process—one important step is setting up your delivery (shipping) information.
Your Spreadshop’s shipping settings are not automatically transferred to Google Merchant Center. You’ll need to manually configure shipping in your Google account to ensure your product listings are accurate.
Tips for Setting Up Shipping
-
Match Spreadshop shipping costs: Align your Google Merchant Center shipping settings with the shipping costs used on your Spreadshop for consistency.
-
You can view your Spreadshop shipping rates here
-
Create Country-Specific Profiles: Shipping costs often vary by country, so it’s recommended to create a Shipping Profile for each country you deliver to.
To add your shipping information, click “Add Delivery” during onboarding or go to “Shipping and Returns” in your Merchant Center dashboard to start setting up your shipping profile.
Step by step example
Follow the step-by-step guide within the Merchant Center when adding delivery details to ensure everything is set up correctly.
1. Name your template and select the countries this template will apply to
2. Choose the products this template should apply to and define the expected delivery times
3. To align the shipping process with your Spreadshop settings, select the "Price" option
(This ensures that shipping costs are calculated based on the product price.)
