Connect your Spreadshop with Meta to show products on Facebook and Instagram

Easily link your Spreadshop to Meta’s tools to showcase your products on Facebook and Instagram. Follow these steps: 

 Log in to Meta Business Portfolio 

  1. Go to Meta Business Settings.
  2. Log in or register an account.

Access Your Spreadshop Partner Area 

  1. Open your Spreadshop Partner Area. 
  2. Navigate to Settings > Marketing > Meta. 
  3. This section allows you to connect your Spreadshop to the Meta Business Portfolio and track traffic to your shop.

 Set Up Product Feed 

  1. In Meta Business Settings, go to Data Sources > Catalogs.
  2. Click Add a New Catalog and choose Create a New Catalog.
  3. Complete the fields to create your catalog, then click Next.
  4. Optionally, connect the catalog to tracking (see Meta Pixel setup).
  5. Assign permissions as needed.
  6. Upload your products:
    • Copy the product feed link from the Meta section in your Spreadshop settings.
    • Paste this link into the catalog as the data source.
  7. Set the default currency and the data feed schedule.
  8. Click Upload, and your products will appear in Commerce Manager. 

 

Verify Your Domain with Meta Tag 

  1. In Meta Business Settings, go to Domains. 
  2. Add your Spreadshop URL to the domain section. 
  3. Save and verify your domain: 
    • Copy the verification code (inside ... only).
    • Paste the code into your Spreadshop account

Set Up Meta Pixel for Tracking 

  1. In Meta Business Settings, go to Data Sources > Datasets.
  2. Click Add to create a new dataset.
  3. Once created, Meta will provide a Pixel ID.

  4. Paste the Pixel ID into your Spreadshop settings.

    (This enables tracking traffic and events between your social media and Spreadshop.) 
  5. Use Meta’s Event Manager to define specific tracking events. Learn more about setting up events here.
